NBP/NIS material examined. 17 ♂, 10 ♀ from the following sites: Manitoba: Churchill; Newfoundland and Labrador: Goose Bay; Nunavut: Kugluktuk ; Quebec: Schefferville; Yukon Territory: North Fork Pass (vi–vii.1962; vii.1951, 1963, 2011) ( CNC, LEM).

Comments. Liopiophila varipes is widespread in the Nearctic and Palaearctic regions ( Zuska & Laštovka 1965; McAlpine 1977; Ozerov 2004b).
