Distribution in Iran: Alborz, Ardabil (Ebrahimi 2014), Fars ( Fallahzadeh et al. 2009; Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015), Tehran ( Ebrahimi 2005, 2014).

Remarks: The subspecies Astata boops boops has been recorded from Iran ( Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015).
