Distribution in Iran: Alborz ( Leclercq 1993), East Azerbaijan ( Gussakovskij 1933; Ghazi-Soltani et al. 2006, 2009; Ghazi-Soltani et al. 2010a, b, c; Ebrahimi 2014), Fars ( Fallahzadeh et al. 2009; Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015), Ilam, Markazi (Ebrahimi 2014), Mazandaran (de Beaumont 1957; Ebrahimi 2014), Sistan-o Baluchestan (Ebrahimi 2014), Tehran ( Leclercq 1993).

Remarks: The subspecies Lestica clypeata clypeata has been recorded from Iran ( Atbaei et al. 2015 Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015.
