Description. Male: Body yellowish, with fine pubescence. Rostrum, head, antennae, middle of pronotum, area near scutellum and sides in basal half brownish. Rostrum slightly curved, equal in length to pronotum, about 5.3 times as long as wide at apex, about 6.2 times as long as wide in middle, 3.7 times as long as wide at base, with two longitudinal carinae, with adpressed setae ventrally. Antennae inserted near rostrum basis ventrally, reaching middle of pronotum. First and second antennomeres suboval. First antennomere about 2.3 times as long as wide at apex, not reaching eye. Second antennomere 1.4 times as long as wide at apex, 0.5 times as long as and 0.8 times as narrow as first antennomere. Third-ninth antennomeres subconical. Third antennomere two times as long as wide at apex, about 0.9 times as long as and subequal in wide to second antennomere. Fourth antennomere about 1.4 times as long as wide at apex, about 0.8 times as long as and 1.2 times as wide as third antennomere. Fifth antennomere about 1.3 times as long as wide at apex, subequal in length and about 1.1 times as wide as fourth antennomere. Sixth antennomere 0.9 times as long as wide at apex, 0.8 times as long as and 1.1 times as wide as fifth antennomere. Seventh antennomere subequal to sixth antennomere. Eighth antennomere subequal to seventh antennomere. Ninth antennomere 1.2 times as long as wide at apex, about 1.3 times as long as and 1.4 times as wide as eighth antennomere. Antennal club apically tomentose, 2.3 times as long as ninth antennomere. Tenth antennomere about 1.7 times as long as wide at apex, 1.7 times as long as and about 1.2 times as wide as ninth antennomere. Eleventh antennomere about 0.6 times as long as wide at base. Forehead weakly convex, slightly narrower than rostrum base width, with median longitudinal furrow, densely punctate. Eyes large, convex, coarsely faceted. Head behind eyes with stark constriction. Temples short, about 0.3 times as long as eye. Pronotum campaniform, 1.6 times as long as wide at apex, 0.9 times as long as wide in middle, about 1.2 times as long as wide at base, weakly convex, with fife longitudinal carinae, with weak teeth on sides, densely punctate. Distance between points smaller than their diameter. Scutellum almost pentagonal, 1.5 times as long as wide. Elytra suboval, about 1.6 times as long as humeri, 1.5 times as long as wide in middle, 2.0 times as wide at apical fourth, 1.9 times as long as pronotum, with slightly smoothed humeri. Elytral disc with indistinct carinae and weak striae, densely punctate. Apex of elytra without tooth. Precoxal portion of prosternum long, about 2.1 times as long as procoxal cavity. Postcoxal portion of prosternum short, 0.5 times as long as precoxal portion. Procoxal cavities separated. Metaventrite weakly convex, punctate, two times as long as metacoxal cavity. Metepisternum narrow. Abdomen convex, densely punctate. Ventrites free. First ventrite about 1.8 times as long as metacoxal cavity. Second and third ventrites subequal in length. Second ventrite 0.5 times as long as first ventrite. Fourth ventrite 0.9 times as long as third ventrite. Fifth ventrite 0.8 times as long as fourth ventrite. Legs quite long. Procoxae large, spherical. Femora weakly thickened and flattened, lacking teeth, densely punctate. Profemora strongly widened. Tibiae short and wide, straight. Tarsi wide. First tarsomere wide-conical. Second and third tarsomeres bilobed, with erect setae ventrally. Fifth tarsomere elongate. Tarsal claws free, divergent. Total body length (without rostrum) 2.8 mm.
