Distribution in Iran. Ilam ( Ghahari et al. 2011d; Khajeh et al. 2014).
Distribution outside Iran. Widely distributed in western Palaearctic region ( Papp 2007a, 2011–2012). Austria, Morocco, Romania and former Yugoslavia ( Docavo et al. 1985; Yu et al. 2012), Bulgaria (Papp 2011– 2012; Yu et al. 2012), France, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Switzerland and Uzbekistan ( Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2007a; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Docavo et al. 1985; Papp 2008; Yu et al. 2012), Israel (Papp 2011–2012), Korea ( Papp 2007b; Yu et al. 2012), Morocco ( Nixon 1939), Serbia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Spain ( Docavo et al. 1985; Tormos 1987; Yu et al. 2012), Tunisia (Papp 2011–2012; Yu et al. 2012), Russia ( Lelej 2012).
Host records. Delia radicum (L., 1758) and Fucellia tergina (Zetterstedt, 1845) ( Diptera : Anthomyiidae ) ( Yu et al. 2012). It was reported as a parasitoid of Lucilia sericata (Meigen, 1826) ( Diptera : Calliphoridae ) ( Docavo et al. 1985; Tormos 1987). In Russia, it has been recorded from Delia antiqua (Meigen, 1826) , Paregle audacula (Harris, 1780) ( Diptera : Anthomyiidae ) and Ravinia striata (Fabricius, 1794) ( Diptera : Sarcophagidae ) ( Lelej 2012).
