Scoparia murificalis Walker, 1859: 826 View in CoL ; Caradja, 1925: 336; Caradja, 1938: 252; Nuss, 1998: 488. Type locality: Sri Lanka.
Material examined. Holotype: Ƥ (identification based on frenulum) " Type ", "Holo- | type ", " Ceylon [back] 52 | 62", "33. Scoparia murificalis ", "Abdomen missing", BMNH.
Distribution. Sri Lanka.
Remarks. Scoparia murificalis was recorded from western part of China by Caradja (1925, 1938). We were unable to check the specimens in this study. So far, we were unable to verify the occurrence of this species in China.
