Comments. This genus was originally assigned to Lonchaeidae , but Hennig (1948) considered that it probably belongs to Ulidiidae , and posteriorly confirms it ( Hennig, 1952). Evenhuis (2012), unwiring the last publication of Hennig, and subsequent literature, transferred Lipsana from Lonchaeidae to Ulidiidae , under subfamily Lipsaninae .
