General distribution: Swiss Alps (Ticino); Mediterranean? New record for Italy.
Habitat preferences: silvicolous; xerophilous?
Remarks: Body length 200 µm. Up to now this species was only recorded in southern Ticino (Rancate, chestnut forest, Mahunka & Mahunka-Papp 2001).
