The holotype from Bardia [31°46’N 25°06’E] ( Libya) has not been located. The drawing of the forewing published by Navás (1930a) does not correspond to any known species ( Fig. 49). Following Stange (2004), we provisionally retain this species in the genus Ganguilus , pending new material to confirm or reject this placement.
