Melittobia acasta Walker, 1839 View in CoL

Melittobia acasta overtook 7.7 % of P. fuscipennis cells and the pressure exerted on the host population is less considerable than the one exerted by O. sculpticollis .

M. acasta attacked also 14 cells (15.9 %) containing O. sculpticollis larvae. Consequently, M. acasta appeared to be parasitoid and hyperparasitoid at the same time for P. fuscipennis and O. sculpticollis correspondingly.
