Type material: Holotype: male, Mt. Wuzhishan (18°54.418′N, 109°40.647′E, alt. 941 m), Hainan Island, China, 26 April 2011, leg. Yuanye Zhou. Paratypes: 7 males, 12 females (IZCAS), same data as holotype.

Etymology. The specific name is from Latin tumidus (swollen), in reference to the distal shape of male compound teminal apophysis; adjective.

Diagnosis. Male resembles I. limuensis sp. nov., I. minuta sp. nov., and I. nigricula sp. nov. in having similar male palp, but can be distinguished by the shape of patellar apophysis which has long branches, and the distal portion of compound teminal apophysis which is swollen ( Figs 232, 233 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 237, 238 View FIGURES 236 – 239 ; 135, 136, 140, 141; 167, 168, 172, 173; 180, 181, 185, 186). Female is similar to I. nigricula sp. nov. and I. uncinata sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the sclerotized region of epigyne and details of vulva ( Figs 234, 235 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 240, 241 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ; 182, 183, 188, 189; 247, 248, 253, 254).

Description. Male ( Figs 232, 233 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 236–239 View FIGURES 236 – 239 , 242 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ): Total length 1.9, PL 1.0, PW 0.8, OL 0.9, OW 0.6. Eye sizes: AME 0.25, ALE 0.17, PME 0.03, PLE 0.15, AER 0.8, PER 0.75, EFL 0.6. Legs: I 1.52 (0.5, 0.25, 0.4, 0.17, 0.2), II 1.5 (0.45, 0.2, 0.35, 0.3, 0.2), III 1.41 (0.45, 0.2, 0.26, 0.3, 0.2), IV 2.05 (0.65, 0.25, 0.5, 0.35, 0.3); formula: 4123.

Dorsal prosoma brown, with dark sides, covered with brown and white setae. Clypeus height 0.08, Clypeus brown, covered with grayish white setae. Fovea, cervicle and radial grooves unclear. Chelicerae small and yellow, with one promarginal teeth, retromargin with four teeth. Endites, labium and sternum yellow. Leg I with black longitudinal stripe. Metatarsus I with three pairs of ventral spines. Opisthosoma cylindrical, brown, with two pairs of yellow spots, following one latitudinal yellow stripe; anterior and posterior margins covered with long brown and white setae; ventral opisthosoma light brown. Spinnerets white, anterior spinnerets shorter and stronger than posterior ones. Palp ( Figs 232, 233 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 236–239 View FIGURES 236 – 239 ): Patellar apophysis long, bifurcated medially, with thin and bent branches. Compound teminal apophysis broad in retrolateral view, separated by a deep groove at tip of bulbus, swollen and rough distally, with curved and pointed apex. Embolus long and partially obscured by compound teminal apophysis. Seminal duct thin and twisted.

Female ( Figs 234, 235 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 240, 241, 243, 244 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ): Total length 2.2, PL 1.0, PW 0.9, OL 1.2, OW 0.9. Eye sizes: AME 0.25, ALE 0.15, PME 0.05, PLE 0.2, AER 0.85, PER 0.8, EFL 0.6. Legs: I 1.85 (0.6, 0.25, 0.4, 0.35, 0.25), II 1.6 (0.45, 0.25, 0.35, 0.3, 0.25), III 1.65 (0.45, 0.22, 0.33, 0.4, 0.25), IV 2.35 (0.7, 0.3, 0.6, 0.45, 0.3); formula: 4132.

Opisthosoma oval, yellow, with one grayish longitudinal stripe on anterior portion, following three gray latitudinal stripes. Other characters similar to those of male. Epigyne ( Figs 234 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 240 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ): moderately sclerotized, with less sclerotized areas anteriorly. Vulva ( Figs 235 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 241 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ): Copulatory ducts membranaceous, coiled and merged at the bottom of the vulva. Glandular ducts thin, along with copulatory ducts. Spermathecae oblong, connect to an Ishaped sclerite.

Distribution. The species is known only from the type locality ( Fig. 258 View FIGURE 258 ).
