Material: CANADA: 1♀, 1.viii.1937, British Columbia, Vernon, Malaise trap, leg. H. Leech.

The identification of this species is as defined in the diagnosis of Hemeromyia alberichae . Its diagnosis fits the redescription of the holotype ( Freidberg et al. in prep.). This is the first record from Canada.
