COMMENTS: In the original description, Vaurie cited the AMNH number of the holotype and noted that he had a second specimen. The paratype is: AMNH 672586, sex?, Morotai Island, undated, collected by Dumas. Dumas is known to have collected on Morotai in late 1898 ( LeCroy and Jansen, 2011: 176–177).
