New material. 7 females (slide number NJAUAcariEri263), from Castanea mollissima Blume (Fagaceae) , The Foping National Natural Reserve, Foping County, Shaanxi Province, P. R. China, 33°30'48' N, 107°58'52' E, elevation 766m, 5 September 2004, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue and Zi-Wei Song.

Hosts. Castanea mollissima Blume , Castanea seguinii Dode (Fagaceae) .

Relation to host. Vagrant.

Distribution. China (Anhui, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Taiwan), Japan.
