REMARKS. This is one of the smallest of the Bolivian cicadas with body lengths of about 11 mm. The head and thorax are castaneous marked with piceous. The abdomen is ferruginous transversely striped with piceous. The species was collected in the understory of the Paranense floristic province ( Sanborn et al. 2011a).

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia, and Brazil ( Metcalf 1963c; Sanborn 2013; Sanborn & Heath 2014). The species has been recorded from Mapiri, Bolivia ( Jacobi 1907).
