New material. Greece, distr. Séres , Kerkini Mts. , Ano Vironia env., Ramna, 610 m (41°17'37.54"N, 23°11'42.99"E), 5.VI.2015, 2 ♂♂, 1 ♀, J. Mertlik leg. ( PCJM) GoogleMaps ; dtto, 1 ♂, 1 ♀, B. Zbuzek leg. (PCBZ); dtto, 3 ♂♂, P. Brůha leg. (PCPB); dtto, 1 ♀, T. Németh leg. (PCRK).

Description of female. Like male, but with wider, more convex pronotum and shorter antennae, surpassing the hind pronotal angles by about 2.5 segments (3.5 in males) ( Fig. 104 View FIGURES 90 – 104 ). The sclerotized spines of bursa copulatrix as in Fig. 239 View FIGURES 234 – 242 .

Diagnosis. Dima schimmeli is a medium-sized species (body length: 10.3–13.0 mm) with pronotal punctures of variable size, sparser on disc and denser near margins, with long, straight, dense, semi-erect pubescence on pronotum and elytra ( Figs 102–104 View FIGURES 90 – 104 , 156 View FIGURES 155 – 162 ), and long apical lobes of paramera ( Figs 214–215 View FIGURES 212 – 221 ). It is the only longhaired species in the region ( Fig. 244 View FIGURE 244 ). Dima schimmeli resembles the species from the north Peloponnese ( D. assingi , D. neumanni , D. schnitteri ) by the body shape and long straight pubescence, but it differs in the semi-erect (about 45°) pubescence on pronotum (erect in the Peloponnesian species; Figs 120 View FIGURES 119 – 130 , 146 View FIGURES 143 – 154 , 156–157 View FIGURES 155 – 162 ).

Distribution. Greece ( Macedonia: Kerkini Mts.; Fig. 244 View FIGURE 244 ).
