Type depository. Holotype, ♀ (PCJM).

Type locality. Albania: Skhodër , Mt. Cukalit, 1300 m.

Diagnosis. This species belongs to the group of species with more convex, suboval-shaped body and shiny elytral intervals with very sparsely distributed thin setae ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 60 – 74 ). It differs from other Dima species in the region by the combination of following characters: paler and wider, more robust body, wide, shiny pronotum with very shallow fine punctures and short decumbent pubescence, and wide angulate scutellum ( Figs 66 View FIGURES 60 – 74 , 145 View FIGURES 143 – 154 ). By the general habitus and shapes of pronotum and scutellum, this species is like D. elateroides , but they differ by the body surface and pubescence.

Distribution. Albania (Skhodër: Mt. Cukalit; Fig. 243 View FIGURE 243 ).

Remark. Dima moraveci is known only from the female holotype ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 60 – 74 ).
