Australasian: 1) Indonesia (east of Wallace’s Line) ( Durden et al. 2008).

Camicas et al. (1998) listed Haemaphysalis kadarsani as an Oriental tick, but it has been found only in the Australasian Zoogeographic Region, as discussed in Guglielmone et al. (2014).
