Palearctic: 1) China (north), 2) Kyrgyzstan, 3) Tajikistan ( Filippova 1997, Kolonin 2009, Chen et al. 2010, Fedorova 2017).
Gao et al. (2022) found several specimens of Dermacentor pavlovskyi that had been identified as Dermacentor montanus .
