Oriental: 1) Malaysia ( Kolonin 2009).

Haemaphysalis borneata was originally identified as Haemaphysalis aculeata , according to Hoogstraal (1971d), but Keirans (1985b) stated that it was confused with Haemaphysalis cornigera .
