Palearctic: 1) Russia ( Filippova 1997).

Kolonin (2009) regarded the only known specimen of Dermacentor pomerantzevi , a female, as an aberrant form of Dermacentor , and Tsapko (2020) doubted the presence of this tick in Russia.
