Afrotropical: 1) Oman, 2) Saudi Arabia (south), 3) Yemen ( Al-Khalifa et al. 1986, Papadopoulos et al. 1991, Wassef et al. 1997).

Kolonin (2009) did not include Oman within the geographical distribution of Hyalomma arabica , but no reasons were given for this omission.
