Xyleborus nitidipennis Schedl, 1951: 88 .

Distribution: India (Sikkim), Indonesia (Java), Taiwan, Vietnam. The species also occurs in Thailand (RAB, unpublished record). [4]

Hosts: The only recorded host is Eupatorium pallescens (Asteraceae) in Java ( Kalshoven 1959).
