Xyleborus concitatus Schedl, 1969: 214 .

Distribution: Taiwan only. [1]

Hosts: ‘Formosan hardwood’ ( Schedl 1969a), ‘Angiosperm wood’ ( Gebhardt et al. 2005).

Biology: The species was originally described from timber imported to Japan from Taiwan ( Schedl 1969a). The species was later collected in Taiwan by Gebhardt, and the mycangium and associated ambrosia fungus, Dryadomyces amasae Gebhardt , have been described and studied ( Gebhardt et al. 2005).
