Distribution: From India, Nepal and southwest China through Southeast Asia to Indonesia, the Philippines and New Guinea. Presumably imported to and established in East Africa ( Tanzania, Zambia) and the Seychelles. New to Taiwan. [4]

Hosts: Polyphagous ( Browne 1961; Schedl 1963; Wood & Bright 1992).
