Distribution: From southern China and India, through southeast Asia to Indonesia West of Wallace’s line, Taiwan. [4]
Hosts: Polyphagous ( Wood & Bright 1992). Recorded from seven genera in the families Altingiaceae , Lauraceae, Leguminosae , Moraceae in Taiwan by Murayama (1934a as Xyleborus amorphus ).
