Distribution: Japan, Korea, Russia (FE), Taiwan. [2a]

Hosts: Polyphagous, recorded from 10 species in 8 families of angiosperms ( Beaver 2000).

Biology: Like other xyloterines, this is a monogamous ambrosia beetle. The larvae develop in separate cradles arranged in series above and below the main gallery ( Beaver 2000).
