Comment on Nemoriini

Salkeld (1983) described only one nemoriine, Nemoria bistriaria siccifolia Fitch. The eggs of these two species no more closely resemble each other than the other green geometrines apart from the unusual character of the anterior pole being narrower than the posterior pole; although this feature is much more pronounced in the Australian species. The eggs of the Australian nemoriines Anisozyga pieroides Walker (Common 1993) and Eucyclodes buprestaria Guenée ( McFarland 1973, 1988) resemble C. boisduvalaria in general shape.
