Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, polar profile sub­circular, dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 67 & 69).

Characteristics: Egg marked all over by polygonal cells with concave floors, moderately broad, double­ridged, slightly elevated cell walls (Figs 67–70). Cell walls in micropylar area overlaid with shallow, narrow reticulation (Figs 67 & 68). Cells arranged regularly in longitudinal rows. Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings large, present on all surfaces (Figs 69 & 70). Chorion shallowly ridged and folded (Figs 70 & 71).
