Subfamily Ennominae View in CoL View at ENA

This is the largest geometrid subfamily in southern Australia, with the Nacophorini as the most speciose tribe, rivalled only by the Boarmiini in terms of numbers of genera and species. Other tribes that occur in southern Australia are the Caberini , Lithinini and Macariini with other tribes being largely confined to the tropical and sub­tropical areas of nothern Australia. Five tribes are illustrated here: Boarmiini , Caberini , Lithinini , Macariini and Nacophorini .
