Shape: Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole abruptly truncated, slightly dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 769 & 771).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by flat, hexagonal cells with, narrow walls (Figs 769, 771 & 772); cell form only faintly discernible on anterior pole (Fig. 769), top wider side apart from mesal area (Fig. 771); in this area cell walls narrow, slightly elevated. Aeropyles small, slightly elevated, openings small (Fig. 772), present on narrow lateral sides. Rosette cells slightly recessed (Fig. 770). Chorion very rough, ridged (Figs 770 & 772).
