Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated, not dorso­ventrally flattened (Fig. 666).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by rectangular, elongated, concave cells with narrow, slightly elevated transverse walls and broad, strongly elevated, longitududinal, slightly wavy walls forming prominent longitudinal ribs between poles (Figs 666–669), micropylar cell walls narrow (Fig. 665). Aeropyles inconspicuous, present only around anterior pole, openings moderately small (Fig. 670). Micropylar cells slightly recessed (Fig. 665). Chorion smooth, sparsely blistered or granular, irregularly (Fig. 671); densely ridged on anterior pole (Fig. 665).
