Other material examined. Only the types.

Etymology. The specific epithet is a toponymic in apposition and refers to the type locality of the paratype.

Diagnosis. Males of Patrera teresopolis n. sp. resemble those of P. opertanea by the retrolateral tibial apophysis short, curved in the apex in male palp and atrium short in the epigynum (as in Figs 14C–F View FIGURE 14 , 15A–C View FIGURE 15 ), but differs by the apical median apophysis and tibial retrolateral apophysis short, truncated at tip and with basal tegular protuberance in the male palp ( Figs 25C–E View FIGURE 25 , 26A, B View FIGURE 26 ). Females are diagnosed by the subtriangular hood and copulatory ducts forming a triangle next to lateral borders in the female epigynum ( Figs 25F, G View FIGURE 25 , 26C, D View FIGURE 26 ).
