Type species: Paranyctiophylax kisoensis Tsuda View in CoL , original designation.
Diagnosis: Species in this subgenus are characterized by having forewings with looped anal veins. The cerci are moderately large. The gonopods are moderately long, slender, curved dorsad, each monolobed with somewhat rounded and distinct basal bend, or nearly triangularly bilobed.
