Stegana (Steganina) cordhirsuta Wang & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.
( Figs. 6I, 6J View FIGURE 6 , 31 View FIGURE 31 )
Diagnosis. This species resembles S. (S.) sphaerica Wang, Gao, & Chen, 2013 in the shape of aedeagal sheath (as fig. 10E, F in Wang et al. 2013, Fig. 31C View FIGURE 31 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin ( Fig. 31A View FIGURE 31 ); the subepandrial sclerite slightly vaulted, deeply split medially and broadened laterally ( Fig. 31D View FIGURE 31 ).
Description. Male and female: First flagellomere yellow on basal 1/3, black on distal 2/3. Clypeus brown medially, yellow laterally. Mesonotum mostly brownish, with 3 indistinct, longitudinal yellow stripes medially and sublaterally ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Katepisternum mostly yellowish, brown on posterior corner ( Fig. 6J View FIGURE 6 ). Scutellum mostly brownish, brown anteriorly and black along posterior margin ( Fig. 6I View FIGURE 6 ). Halter mostly grey ( Fig. 6J View FIGURE 6 ). Fore femur with a row of 5 or 6 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites mostly yellow, dark brown near distal margin, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 31A View FIGURE 31 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 31A View FIGURE 31 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 31B View FIGURE 31 ). Pregonite large, lacking sensillum ( Fig. 31B, C View FIGURE 31 ). Aedeagus rounded distally, with much pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 31B, C View FIGURE 31 ). Aedeagal sheath distally dorsad curved and with some minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 31C View FIGURE 31 ).
