Protonemura spinulata Martynov, 1928

Gəncə-Qazax region: 38: 5♂, 1♂ larva (HNHM), 1♂ (LMEE), 1♂ 2♀ (MM); 42: 8♂ 7♀, 4♀ larvae, 2 exuviae (HNHM), 3♂ 2♀ (MM); 43: 1♀ (HNHM).

Remarks. A rare late summer and autumnal species, known only from a few localities in the Greater Caucasus ( Georgia, Karachay-Cherkessia), Lesser Caucasus ( Georgia), and the eastern Pontic of Anatolia (Zhiltzova 2003, Darilmaz et al. 2016). In Azerbaijan, we found several specimens along high elevation brooks of the Lesser Caucasus, but not in the Talysh Mts. New for the fauna of Azerbaijan.
