This species has a wide distribution in Indo-Malaya, Africa, and Australia, and has been recorded from Samoa. Not previously recorded in Guam.
We found it abundant on Scirpus lacustris in a few places: Sasa , June 20, Usinger; Sumay Road , June 22, Swezey; Agana swamp, June 26, Swezey.
