This large dragonfly was sometimes caught in mist nets for birds mounted over large rivers in the forest. Some collections came from a central open spot at mid elevation in CNP. New record for Honduras. NOTE: Cordulegaster godmani McLachlan, 1876, was recently considered a junior synonym of C. diadema ( Novelo-Gutiérrez 2018) .
