Dorsal shield 325–350 long and 195–215 wide; j 1 21–22, j 3 30–31, j4 5, j5 5, j6 6, J 5 9–10, z2 12, z 4 11–12, z5 4, Z1 9, Z4 64–70, Z5 85–93, s4 49–52, S2 8–9, S4 10, S5 10, r 3 14– 16, R 1 10–11; distances between st1-st3 57–60, st2-st2 64–65 and st5-st5 65–70; ventri-anal shield 102–108 long, 92–95 wide at level of ZV2 and 80 wide at level of anus; JV5 60–65; movable cheliceral digit 31 long, with 1 tooth; fixed cheliceral digit 29 long, with 8 teeth; calyx of spermatheca 5–7; Sge II 21–22, Sge III 23, Sti III 19, Sge IV 45, Sti IV 26, St IV 55.

Specimens examined: Campinas (22°54' S, 47°01' W), July 2008, on B. decumbens (2 Ƥ).

Remarks: This species was previously known from Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Guadaloupe, Hawaii, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru ( Guanilo et al. 2008a) and USA. Measurements of the specimens collected are close to those of the holotype, given by Moraes & McMurtry (1983).
