Distribution. An African species not recorded from Europe ( Nast, 1972; Hoch, 2007). MADEIRA: locality unknown (Aguin Pombo et al., 2006).
Remarks. Identified based on 5 males. Parthenogenetic females probably of E. distinguenda were studied cytogenetically but this record has not been published (Aguin Pombo et al., 2006). Habitat and food plants. Unknown.
