Type locality. China, Yunnan Province, 35 km N of Lijiang, Heishui village , ca. 27°13′N, 100°19′E.

Type material. Holotype female ( NHMW), labeled: “ China Yunnan, 1.–19.VII., HEISHUI, 35 km N Lijiang , 27°13’N 100°19’E, E. Jendek leg. 1992”.

Diagnosis. This species can be recognized based on the following combination of characters: head and pronotum ( Fig. 1C ) blackish, elytra metallic green, pronotum with distinctly concave sides and prominent posterior angles; punctures on head and pronotum small and sparse ( Kundrata et al. 2013).

Distribution. This species is so far known only from the type locality in Yulong Xueshan massif, northern Yunnan, China ( Fig. 15 ).
