Holotype. ♂ USA: Michigan: Ostego Co.: 7–24.vii.1955, R.R. Dreisbach ( NMNH). Synonymy by Gibbs (2011).

Notes. Until Gibbs (2010), L. leucocomum   was included within L. pilosum   .
