Hybalus servulus Normand, 1949: 86

Hybalus demoflysi Baraud, 1980: 61 , synonymy by Baraud, 1991: 23.

Type material examined. Hybalus demoflysi : holotype, male: “Sidi Tabet, II.39, R. Démoflys ” ( MNHN) , paratypes: 1 male and 1 female with the same data ( CJBH). The types of H. servulus are not available for examination (Synda Kheder, per- sonal communication) therefore we follow Baraud’s interpretation of this species. The photographs of the specimens from the Normand’s collection, provided by Synda Kheder, support this interpretation.

Additional material examined. Tunisia: Beja, Djebba, W. Ziegler 4.III.2012, 2 males ( ZIN) ; Beja, Teboursouk Pass, W . Ziegler 1.3.2012 / N36°29ʹ48ʺ E 09°09ʹ38ʺ 11 km Pass, 2 males and 2 females ( CWZ); El Kef, 10 km NO vom Ort , 850 m leg . Esser 26.3.13, 2 males ( ZIN).

This species was described from Fondouk-Djedid and known also from Sidi Tabet, Djebba, Teboursouk Pass and El Kef ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 ). Record from Radès ( Baraud 1991) belongs to H. bellmanni new species.
