Diagnosis

Body with a broad pedal disc and no basilar muscles. Scapus covered by a thin easily deciduous cuticle, not always present in all specimens examined. Three mesentery cycles: six are complete with restricted reniform retractors, six are macrocnemes and six are microcnemes without retractor developments. Two siphonoglyphs with directives. No sphincter. Several categories of penicilli, spirulae and homotrichs.

Etymology

The name indicates the affinity of the new genus to Charisea
