Melanocraspes subaureata Sick, 1941, Deutsche Entomologische Zeitschrift. Gesellschaft Iris zu Dresden 1941: 3 (TL: Likiang [= Lijiang], Yunnan, China [ ZFMK]).

Material examined. 1 male, 17. VII. 2014, alt. 2,150 m, Weixi, Yunnan, leg. Hailing Zhuang, slide No. SCAU- Thy009.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, Tibet), Nepal.

Remarks. Macrothyatira subaureata danieli Werny, 1966 was restored to specific rank by Jiang et al. (2015), and we also agree with this restoration.
