Distribution. China (Sichuan, Yunnan), Myanmar.

Remarks. Tethea (Tethea) subampliata (Houlbert 1921) was downgraded to subspecific rank as Tethea (Tethea) albicostata subampliata (Houlbert 1921) by Jiang et al. (2015), but we defer this treatment because we did not examine the types.
