Republic of Korea, Yongsan, Seoul, Korea, 19 Jun 1970, 5th Prev Med Lab (1 female); Kimpo, Kyong Ki Do (Gyeonggi Province), Korea, 8 Jun 1970, 5th Prev Med Lab (1 female); 274 females and 87 males collected from New Jersey traps in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, 37.9560o N, 127.0290o E (148 females, 32 males); Paju, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9217o N, 126.7470o E (72 females, 21 males); Dongducheon, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9275o N, 127.0591o E (31 females, 21 males); Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9228o N, 127.0531o E (23 females, 13 males) between 27.May.2010 and 20.Oct.2010, and 170 females and 35 males collected from Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, 37.9560o N, 127.0290o E (62 females, 6 males); Paju, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9217o N, 126.7470o E (50 females, 17 males); Dongducheon, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9275o N, 127.0591o E (39 females, 7 males); Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province; 37.9228o N, 127.0531o E (19 females, 5 males) between 12.May.2011 and 29.Oct.2011.

Diagnosis. The only species of Culicoides subg. Beltranmyia with hairy eyes in both sexes and with female antennal SCo distribution 1,(2,4,7),9,(10,11),12.

Distribution. This species is known from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea.
