Host: Amphiesma vibakari ( Reptilia: Serpentes: Colubridae ).

Site: lung.

Distribution: Eastern Palaearctic (mainland).

Description. Comparatively small species. Body slender, rounded on anterior end and sharply pointed on posterior end. Body length 1.73–2.31 mm, maximum width 70–84. Body cuticle thin, slightly inflated in anterior part, finely longitudinally striated. Six small lips arranged in 2 lateral groups. Buccal capsule absent. Oesophagus club-shaped, 207–257 long (9.0–13.4 % of body length), width of the posterior bulb 36–38. Distance from the anterior edge of oesophagus to nerve ring 94–100 (38.9–48.2 % of oesophagus length). Excretory glands longer than oesophagus. Intestine wide, thick-walled, its anterior end wider than posterior end of oesophagus. Rectum funnel shaped, with thick straight walls. Distance from anterior end of body to vulva 0.81–1.03 mm (42.8–46.4 % of total length). Vulva lips prominent. Uteri short, narrow. Eggs in uteri not numerous (2–6), situated in one line, containing embryos on early cleavage stages. Egg size 40–42 × 56–64. Tail conical, sharply pointed, dorsally curved in fixed specimens. Tail length 130–140 (6.1–8.1 % of body length).

Material studied: 7 specimens ( SIZK) from 3 localities. Type series (3 specimens) was measured .
