Diagnosis. Vein MA with five main branches reaching wing margin ( Fig. 47 View FIGURE 47 ). Mesobasisternum anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally and posteriorly straight, forming a posterolaterally blunt tip ( Fig. 46E View FIGURE 46 ). Metabasisternum anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight, posteriorly slightly convex, posterolaterally forming an angle of 90° ( Fig. 46E View FIGURE 46 ). Apex of cercus with two small convex projections, with a dark brown color ( Fig. 46K View FIGURE 46 ).

Description. Holotype Male.

Thorax. Mesobasisternum triangular, anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally and posteriorly straight, forming a posterolaterally blunt tip ( Fig. 46E View FIGURE 46 ). Metabasisternum triangular, anteriorly straight; lateral lobes anterolaterally convex, laterally straight, posteriorly slightly convex, posterolaterally forming an angle of 90° ( Fig. 46E View FIGURE 46 ).

Wings. Vein MA with five main branches reaching wing margin ( Fig. 47 View FIGURE 47 ). Left stridulatory file with curved basal half and straight apical half; apical and basal teeth smaller ( Fig. 48A View FIGURE 48 ). Total file length of 2.7 mm, greater vein width of 0.4 mm and total of 46 teeth. Right stridulatory with curved basal half and straight apical half; basal teeth more spaced apart ( Fig. 48B View FIGURE 48 ). Total length file of 2.1 mm, widest vein of 0.1 mm and total of 50 teeth.

Legs. Hind femur with expanded region equivalent to 2/3 of the total femur length ( Fig. 46H View FIGURE 46 ).

Abdomen. Cercus slightly curved inwards, with the apex not expanded ( Figs. 46I–K View FIGURE 46 ). Apex of cercus with two small convex projections, with a dark brown color ( Fig. 46K View FIGURE 46 ). Stylus fusiform ( Fig. 46I View FIGURE 46 ).

Internal male genitalia. Ejaculatory vesicles reniform ( Figs. 49A–D View FIGURE 49 ). Upper folds of ventral lobe large, lobed and not connected ( Figs. 49A–B View FIGURE 49 ). Titillator process large and rounded ( Figs. 49A–D View FIGURE 49 ). Lower folds of ventral lobe large, bilobate and exceeding the dorsal lobe ( Figs. 49A–B View FIGURE 49 ). Dorsal lobes anteriorly with median triangular projection, anterolaterally with two elongated projections, laterally and posteriorly convex ( Figs. 49A–D View FIGURE 49 ). Dorsal folds elongated, narrow and with asymmetrical apex ( Figs. 49C–D View FIGURE 49 ).

Coloration. Based on photos of preserved specimen ( Fig. 46 View FIGURE 46 ). Body yellowish-brown. Eyes light brown.

Female: Unknown.

Etymology. The epithet is in apposition, iuna (‘y + un + a) comes from the Brazilian indigenous language Nheengatu and means “dark river”, referring to the type locality of the species, the Rio Negro region.
