In Canada, this rarely encountered eucnemid species was previously recorded from Québec. In the United States, F. bicolor has been taken from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin ( Otto 2020, 2024b).
